Spring Soccer in Montana

Well, another spring soccer season has sprung in Montana. We are never sure of what the weather will bring. Will Rylie need to wear a winter jacket to play or shorts. It depends on the day. The first practice called for a winter jacket and was done in the snow. Yikes! The next week was shorts. Crazy. I think her team was the only one that didn't cancel practice in the snow. As I was standing in the snow watching her practice with other parents standing in the snow, I thought, "What am I doing? They are five, if we miss a practice I don't think it will make too much difference. " She had her first game this past Saturday. This is the first time she has played using a goalie and I think she liked being the goalie. It was very fun to watch.

Happy Easter

Easter has come and gone again this year. It seems like the year just started and now we are almost a third of the way through the year. We traveled to Miles City for Easter. Rylie was in Miles City for the week of Spring Break just prior to Easter so she was excited to see us. We went to an Easter Egg hunt in the park and then another Easter activity at the nursing home where the residents handed out candy, eggs, and little toys. It was very nice. It wasn't fantastically warm, but we didn't have to wear winter coats either. Such is Easter in Montana.

Sweetest Sisters

I have two of the cutest little girls on the planet. Completely different personalities but still adorable, although I may exhibit some kind of bias being their mother. Rylie is growing up way too fast and is gone to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Spring Break. We miss her. I asked Rori where Rylie was and she told me she was at our grandma's house. Rori has never had this much continuous alone time with Mom and Dad. Rori has been dancing all morning in her leotard and tutu. I hope that they will be friends as they grow up. Rori actually does all the picking on Rylie usually. Ry never lays a hand on Rori for now anyway. Love my girls!
