Rylie"isms"
Rylie says the funniest things. Of course I think they are funny since I'm the mom. Here are a few.
- On coming home from Primary one day, "Heavenly Father made male and email" This would be the 21st century version.
- At Walmart to the cashier, while I was pregnant with Rori, "You know what's in that big thing? (pointing to my stomach) My sister."
- To the nurse at the OB's office after Rori was born, "I'm thinking of getting a brother baby."
- After I opened the bathroom door to check on her, "Mom, you shouldn't come in here. I need some privacy."
I know there are more, but I'll have to post them later!

Spiderman, I mean Spidergirl
If you haven't noticed, our daughter loves superheroes just like your regular 3 year old girl does!!! She is a tomboy and loves to pretend about superheroes: Spiderman, Superman, Batman, Ninja Turtles). Here she is in one of 5 pairs of Spiderman pajamas she owns. If I tell her she is Spidergirl, she says no, I'm Spiderman. Her 3rd birthday cake was a Spiderman cake.
Last summer we were in Utah at a kids' carnival. All of her girl cousins were getting fairy face painting, but she happened to see that the lady could do Spiderman. She was insistent on getting Spiderman, so we compromised with a pink faced Spiderman instead of the traditional dark red. Pretty funny!

Easter in Montana
Well, Easter in March in Montana is not the
warmest of days, but this
year it was
not too terribly cold (aka We didn't have to put Rylie in snowpants). The sun was shining and the wind was not at gale force. Rylie went on a few different Easter Egg hunts (or as Mark referred to most of them as Easter Egg Scrambles, as the eggs are in full view). Rori couldn't have cared less what day it was, she's all about the sleeping. Rylie thinks the Easter Bunny is named Patrick, due to Easter in Miles City where she had her picture taken with the Easter Bunny named Patrick. Perfectly logical. Just the other day she told me that she wanted to be the Easter Bunny when she grew up.
