Halfway there!

Bryce is now 6 months old.  He is such a happy baby, smiling and talking all the time.  Very cute and loved by his sisters.  They talk to him and he smiles as wide as he can.  He loves to play with his feet and can move himself in a circle while lying on the floor.  He sits up unsupported pretty well now and loves to eat pears!
I think he sneezed while eating, eww!
Check him out
He's not really standing by himself, just leaning

Hmmm, yummy keys, snack of champions!

Way to go!

A couple of weeks ago, I was at Rylie's school and her teacher pulled me aside to tell me that Rylie had won a contest that the VFW Ladies Auxiliary held.  She would be getting an award the next Friday during the Student of the Month assembly and it was a secret.  We kept the secret and showed up to the assembly.  Rylie was sitting up front with a group of students.  I am not sure if she saw us come in or not.  I asked her later what they told the kids who had to sit up front.  She said they were suppose to be showing the kids how to sit the right way during the assembly.

They started announcing the winners for each class.  Everyone  was called up except Rylie and she was left sitting in the front by herself.  It was then announced that she had been the winner for her classroom, the first grade in the school district and had taken 3rd place for the state of Montana.  I think the contest was for K-2 kids.  Not sure if that is completely accurate.  She received a certificate, her picture in a frame, a $2 bill, colored pencils, 2 Lincoln dollar coins, and a cute puppy stuffed animal.

She was quite surprised and we are very proud of her.  Good job, Rylie!

Bath Buddies

Bryce loves being in the big bathtub with his sisters.  He kicks and kicks and tries to get down as low as he can in the water.  Rori is great at holding him in the tub and keeping his head out of the water.  Rylie was there as well, but a little old for bathtub pics.

Princess Dress-up

Rori decided to get out the dress-ups a few weeks ago and this is what she came up with. A pasta necklace completes the ensemble nicely, adding the splash of color. The picture of her with her finger under her nose is apparently the mustache a lot of ballerinas are showing up with lately!
